It began when Steve Doran thought a few wine lovers might want to get together to taste and talk about their mutual interest in the vine. Expecting about ten people when they gathered in the Pub for the first Heritage Park Wine Club meeting in April of 2005, a surprising number (about 60 people) showed up. Thus, the Club began meeting in the Ballroom.
Under the leadership of Steve Doran and Don Arrington, the membership grew to over 450 people. After four years as President, Steve “retired” and Tim Brown stepped into the role. In 2010, Don also hung up his hat. John Posedel became Vice President at the beginning of 2011.
In 2012, Renae Thue took over the reigns as the Wine Club's new President and Mark Freed now serves as Vice President.
